Protected booking payments
When you book, your payment is processed through a regulated payment gateway and held against the booking. GlowMall does not release funds to a professional until the appointment is marked complete. This protects you if a provider cancels or fails to show up.
Deposits
Some professionals require a deposit to secure a slot. The deposit amount and whether it is refundable are shown on the booking screen before you pay. Deposits count towards the total price of your service.
How payments are processed
- Payments are handled by our payment processor. GlowMall never sees or stores your full card number or CVV.
- Card data is transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections only.
- For recurring professional subscriptions, a reusable payment token is stored by the processor, not by us, and can be removed at any time.
Platform fee
GlowMall charges professionals a platform commission of 10% on completed bookings. The price you see as a client is the price you pay; the commission is deducted from the professional's earnings, not added to your bill.
Provider payouts
After a booking is completed, the professional's net earnings (service price minus the platform fee) become available to withdraw to their verified bank account. Payouts are sent through our payment partner's secure transfer rails.
Refunds
Eligible refunds are returned to your original payment method. See our Refunds & Cancellations policy for the cancellation windows and deposit rules that determine eligibility.
Fraud & disputes
We monitor for suspicious activity and may hold or reverse a payment while we investigate. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us and, where warranted, we can refund a protected payment. You can also dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer.
Keeping your account safe
- Keep payments and conversations on GlowMall; never pay a provider off-platform.
- We will never ask for your password or full card details by email or message.
